What is RateMyInsta?

A review hub where we evaluate Instagram accounts on content quality, audience authenticity, engagement, branding, and overall impact.

Are you affiliated with Instagram?

No. We are independent and not endorsed by or connected to Instagram or Meta.

Who writes the reviews?

A small editorial team, humans, supported by transparent metrics and manual checks.

How often do you update reviews?

When there are major changes or after a re-review request.

What does the score mean?

A weighted summary of our criteria. It’s a guide, not a verdict from the heavens.

2. Nominating / β€œTip an Account”

How do I nominate an account?

Use the Tip an Account form. Add the @handle, category, and why it deserves a review.

What happens after I submit?

We verify, queue it, and if accepted, publish the review with our criteria breakdown.

Can I pay to expedite?

Yes, but editorial outcomes remain 100% independent.
